Free CFD development has slowed down for the last few months. The reason is, I have been finishing up my PhD degree. I just defended this Monday and passed. After some revisions, probably a few weeks, I can finally get back and pick up where I left off. So, this would be a good time to ask for your feedback. Please let me know your general experience with Free CFD and what features you’d like to see added so that I can plan/prioritize the tasks. You can comment here, e-mail me or add a wish list post to the forum.

Congratulations on your PhD!
Is it possible to have a copy of your thesis?

Thanks for your interest, I will upload the document once it is finalized. But my dissertation doesn’t have anything to do with Free CFD. So if you are looking for a theory manual for the code, that is almost complete too.

A very hearty congratulations for your PhD,
its fantastic work, what u have started, State of the art density based solver (happening), without re-inventing the wheel, most of the available free tools are used (metis..). i would like to see it grow like OpenFoam. god may bless you to continue this work.
i am doing PhD in supersonic reacting flows (scramjet like). i am interested in seeing combustion models like EDC with Gran’s correction for finite rate chemistry. i would like to involve, if you require.
